When I bought the Wim Hof Ice Bath and Hot Tub barrels, little did I expect to discover an unexpected treasure within – barrels still had some whisky! Now, with approximately 30 liters of barrel-strength whisky, I’ve embarked on a journey of creativity and resourcefulness. random uses of this very strong whisky.

Barrel strength whisky, for the uninitiated, is a remarkable find. Unlike the whisky you might find in a bottle, barrel strength whisky is exactly as it sounds: the pure, undiluted, unaltered spirit that rests within the barrel. It’s a bold and intense expression of the distiller’s craft, with flavors and aromas that can be downright explosive.
What makes it unique is that it hasn’t been watered down, which means you get to experience the full, robust character of the whisky. The alcohol content is often much higher, making it a potent elixir that demands respect.

Our journey into the world of barrel strength whisky didn’t end with a sip. Instead, we found a new and exciting purpose for these barrels here at Naduir. They now serve as essential elements in our WIM HOF METHOD DAYS AND WEEKENDS , housing ice baths and hot tubs.
To maintain these barrels and keep them pristine for our guests, we’ve implemented a diligent care routine. Water is a constant presence within them, and we make sure to change it regularly. Oxygen is introduced to keep the water clean and fresh, and before every event, we power hose them.
